Day 13- We have a Slide Rule and some notes

For some reason we have a slide rule, but I think it's pretty neat. I have no idea how it is used, and math is not my strong suit.



I haven't been great about the updating, so as long as I don't miss too many days in a row I'm going to go with it. My 365 will take more than a year, but I'm quite okay with that.

Day 12- Giving Duke a run for his money

This is Baxter, my good friend's cat. He is a grouchy old man cat who decided that the best place to nap is on my coat while I was visiting. Don't mind the shredded lining in my coat, that was my fault for trying to use the drive-up ATM.

Day 11- Knitting Books

I love that we have nice bookshelves that can display my knitting books. Looking at them makes my fingers itch.

Day 10- I missed it.

Day 9- More Duke

It never ceases to amaze me how comfy he can be.

Day 8- I'm a Fan

A fan of the Red Wings. I got a new shirt to prove it.

Day 7- My Desk

My desk is usually messy.

Day 6- Yarn

This is some leftover yarn that I am going to use to make a pair of thick socks. My feet are cold.

Day 5- Duke gets a Bath

This morning it was determined that Duke was in need of bathing. Poor Guy, he hates bathtime. Here are the aftereffects.


I also took this photo, which is pretty great, except I forgot to change the white balance on the camera. I was not pleased.

Day 4- Nickolas

It was 50+ degrees Fahrenheit today, January 6. In Detroit. That's 20 degrees higher than normal. Not that I'm complaining. I got to chase this little guy around a tree at my grandma's house.

Day 3- Biscotti

I love homemade biscotti. Chocolate Citrus is my go-to recipe. It's supposed to be dipped in chocolate instead of having the chocolate chips mixed in, but it seemed too fussy.

The color of this malibrigo makes me happy.
